We are incredibly selective on type and functionality, and they must tick all the boxes by being:

• Structurally Sound

• Calve unassisted

• Go straight back in calf to Ai

• Raise a heavy calf

• Maintain body condition

• Good Temperament

Our heifers are expected to reach an average joining weight of 450kg at 14/15 months and then be artificially inseminated with the latest Genetics we source from all over the world.

We also artificially inseminate all our cows, followed by a short 9-week joining period with our bulls.

Elite Females are selected as Donors, Dr Udo Mahne flushes them in November each year and then their Embryos are implanted into our commercial herd. All Females are Pregnancy Scanned by Tim Lawrence at 12 weeks, and any empties are culled, no exceptions, ensuring fertility within
our herd.
